I am over Shurburtt and his claims of this guy could be DC or that guy could be DC. I don't know him personally, but I feel as if he's just trying to drive traffic to his website. Furthermore, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, it's his business and he's just passing along rumors he hears.

However, it is absolutely horrible for recruiting, all this coaching speculation is making our staff appear unstable and that's scaring away recruits like Fields and others.

I would MUCH rather just the facts be reported and coaching speculation be left out of the discussion until NSD. We are about to have our last big recruiting weekend come up, and we'll be trying to close the deal with recruits we have and want coming in. I don't want their attention on if so&so is going to be here in the fall.

PLUS, these are all just rumors. JC reported a few weeks ago that Penn St's DC was in line for our non-open DC position, which was completely inaccurate.

It's is all rumors, and I also am tired of it. I really don't believe anything I read about coaching changes until it's official. In the article JC posted he said nothing would happen until after NSD.

You have to remember ... JC and Kornblut are two peas in a pod.

When has Kornblut ever broke a story? (Answer: Never)

There you go.

And that little turd Keven McCrary is even worse for making shite up.
