If that's what our goals are for the program, a random tourney invite and a Sweet 16 once a decade, I can stop following the team now and salvage some sanity.

The elite 8 is the best they've ever done, that's pretty much the expectation sadly.

I was hoping to see more emotion out of KA and the team. They definitely play to the crowd at home, and it is pretty dead most of the time. Like KA, but I don't see him as the guy to lead us to national prominence.

Ride the KA wave for 2-3 years, then go after Gregg Marshall again.

Would you argue that Majerus was a bad coach? I don't think many would.

at Mizzou, yes, many would argue that.

of course it doesn't make it true, but Mizzou fans seem to be wildly homeristic with little pragmatism, once he wins a big game or two, the same fans that want to run him will nominate him as CoTY.

I think you at least have to give coach Anderson a few years to get his guys in here and his system up and running. I think a good time to revisit this question should be after year three.

Its crazy to me that people don't realize or see how good this TEAM will be UNDER KA in a year or 2. As a SLU fan I know 100% and I mean 10000% of what mizzou fans are going through right now, its identical to what SLU did. The first year was rough, went to the finals of the CBI and lost to VCU (that's the start of VCU's next 5 years of success). The next 3 years with the main core of players, like what mizzou has now, went on to the 3rd round 3 straight years. Bad luck and unlucky match ups hurt SLU as far as deep runs go, but mizzou has the talent SLU didnt have.

You're crazy if you would take Frank over Kim, and you would be crazy to think there's no winning seasons in the near future as well.

P.S. to comments earlier Majerus didn't coach the "seniors" senior season, and hardly played a part the second have of that cores Junior season either.
