This year he did because:

1.) we didn't have much of a choice; Mason wasn't going to win the games on his own and our run game was working.

and

2.) Chubb consistently carried the ball 30 and 40 times a game in high school. The kid is a total freak athlete. Incredibly strong and fast for his age. He broke Thomas Brown's pound-for-pound weight record his first summer here (at 190 lbs, Brown could bench 470, clean 347, and squat 610 for a 7.55 body index).

Next year, with a healthy Michel and Marshall, Chubb won't be carrying the team as much. He'll still be the feature guy but not to this year's extent.
