Its true. Your state is surrounded by SEC states, and still has Vandy. The network could get full distribution in your state without you.

Even it we lost all distribution in your state it only has 6.5 million people compared to Virginia's 8+ million potential cable viewers, plus probably the DC market. The Network rates are higher for states with a SEC team. At least the University of Virginia is AAU unlike Tennessee.

If in the modern era your was a brand like Bama you would be a reason for asking those rates, but instead you are like us - just a population base for the Network. Except you split 6.5 million in some way, while we are the sole anchor for 25+ million people.

Thing is, nobody cares. Why would SEC trade college sports loving state and fanbase for a never been Virginia program. Just because there are people in a state, doesn't mean they're watching college sports. The SEC would never trade one of their powers for fricking Virginia, I don't care if they had 20 million.
