I understand we didn't get our top guy and that people want to poke fun at is for it. What I don't understand though is why Bama fans are saying anything...he was on your staff and Saban hired him twice....

He was asked to find another job when he left for Clemson, since we wanted to promote Smart to DC.
Then he came back in an admin role, and then to LB coach.
You just gave him the keys.

LSU is about to die off. A decent defense and Fournette is all you had and the D just gave full control to a Bama flunkie. It's bad when Cam Cameron can field a twice as productive offense in the AFC thanks to Les' QB recruitment..

Unless LSU finds a offense outside of Fournette, we have 2 years to win. That means Brandon Harris gains 30 lbs and can release a throw Dural/Dupre can go get.
The LSU DL is slim in the rotation at the moment.

He wasn't my first choice for sure...but damn we can at least give the guy a chance bc I sure as hell know he's never had his hands on the talent that LSU has...if he fails with that then yes he's awful
