I know. It's like they don't even remember losing to us. They just blank the whole thing out as if it never happened. Must be tough for those guys to see another team celebrate what they all thought was inherently theirs

I think the reality is the SEC dominance peaked in 2011 with Alabama and LSU clearly being two of the three best teams in the country (the other being Oklahoma State who should've been in over Alabama but oh well) and has been on a downswing since 2011, it just didn't really show itself on the big stage until now.

More than anything I think its due to the coaching ranks at several of the big schools being depleted and Florida, Georgia and LSU being in a period of decline. The reality is Alabama and Auburn have carried the league the last 2 years and the rest of the league has not been the same.
