But I think you have to admit that there's been some smoke to this fire for a while. Key has been looking for an exit plan, just looking for the right one. Georgia isn't it. Miami sure as hell isn't it. But LSU needs DEs, and Auburn just got Muschamp. My gut says its between LSU and Auburn.



Nah, they always do another re-ranking right before NSD, where "new film is uncovered" and/or they take the feedback/camp/film from the All Star Games and/or that type of thing and they the sites re-rank/rate/star recruits.

Usually, the uncommitted guys get a bump up in the rankings to make the fans of the sites feel as if those recruits are more important/valuable and to raise their hype level. It happens every year.

Isn't that what happened last year with Bryson Allen-Williams, who did well in the all-star games and blew up right around this time - even though he was already a 4* prospect. Then UGA and others came on very strong on him during the final month....
