That's exactly what I'm talking about. How do you suggest an entire fan base get together and decide on something - and why would they?

That's the type of comment that comes from group-think.

As a group, LSU fans are pretty homogenous.

They seem pretty split on whether to keep Miles or not.

They also seem pretty split on whether losing Chavis was a good thing or a bad thing.

It seems I see the LSU fan base referred to as 'schizo' more often than any other.

Hence my perspective problem. I see the world from maroon lenses, a world where you put out the talking points gotten from the mothership and hope for even more touchdowns next year. So that is the point of me asking for another perspective.

True, true. But for those who think it is a good thing, the RATIONALIZATION is almost always the same- aka a rationalization of potentially better DEFENSIVE coaching. That is the key.

Exceptions make the rules, and trends show a pattern. I am just trying to make sense of it all.

Now you can say that this is just a few crazy LSU fans who are full of crap, which is fine. But in this life normally where there is smoke there is fire, so I am looking for a fire that might burn up our huge new investment.
