I should have said "he beat everyone except some of the greatest teams of all time." Not only did FSU give him fits, but Miami was actually a force back then.

With that said, if the ceiling for Chavis is "you won't beat some of the best programs alltime" then sign me up. We aren't going to beat those programs anyway without Chavis.

Heck all I want is a run of a few double digit win seasons so Sumlin can stack our roster Dinardo-style for the next coach (who is better at coaching) to win it all Saban-style. If Chavis can give me that he earns his money.
