I am wondering about what happened in the past that makes so many confident that yall have potential to upgrade. Not because I am trying to poke fun at the idea that yall think you will upgrade, but instead because if yall think that is such a good possibility then maybe Chavis is a fraud.

Before Chavis we were equally as badass with Bo Pelini. Upgrade is too strong of a word. This is the internet, people are fricking stupid.

We have talent and a TOP offense so just a competent DC can be very good for us. We are foolish to think we can improve a lot because there isn't much room for improvement, but we can certainly remain just as good as a whole on defense. We might not be as good against the spread because Chavis excelled there, but we can improve our prevent/long yardage D and aggressiveness on the DL/LB.

LSU fans that are glad he left are dumb and reactionary (bird in hand), but that doesn't mean we can't get someone to put an equally as good product on the field. The people thinking we are going to take a major step back on defense are equally as dumb and reactionary.

is been said 100 times, he needs ELITE TALENT, even then there's gonna be some head scratchers. Your paying the man 1.7million. Where do hope your D is gonna rank after his first year? It won't be top 30, he may get yall in the top 70? Either way it's a huge upgrade for Aggie. Now is it worth what your paying? Guess that's for yall to decide
