The Post (and virtually all similar outlets) are bad, very bad, in so many senses of the word.
How terrible is their website? It's almost as if it's intentionally awful.
I also can never get over the amount of grammatical errors, which seems hyper-sensitive, but these people are supposed to be professionals.
I get there are deadlines, I get a lot of this stuff is written at a fast pace, but it still just astonishes me with the rate of errors.

same here, I am no pro at writing either by any means, but the amount of mistakes I see that would have been caught by doing a simple "grammar check" with Word, is astounding. It would take all of 20 seconds to cutnpaste and hit the button to scan for problems. The fact that they are usually written under deadline pressure, perhaps late at night, is an even better reason to go through that process.
