I'm not trying to put any institution on the same level.
You--and anyone else--can hold whatever perception you choose.
I was explaining that each state configures its education system differently.
Smaller states (e.g., New Hampshire) don't have the same framework as do larger states (e,g., California).
View Texas A&M University in the same regard as the lowliest of online degree mills--it's no skin off my nose.

Your state's customs have nothing to do with the premise of this thread, or nearly any other topic on the issue on this forum.
