I don't think anybody is saying the SEC will sink into obscurity. I think other conferences have leveled the playing field.
I honestly think that something clicked for Oregon after two losses in a row to Auburn and LSU - both times they got outplayed physically. Now they have a different kind of athlete on their lines and it shows.
Ohio State - well their coach already had the formula to success, didn't he? Ohio State looks very different from Tressel's teams. They are more athletic and more physical.
I think TCU and Baylor are still system teams, but they are also building the kind of program that Oregon is building. NFL talent is moving through those places now.
