If Saban never arrived, you would be a less prestigious version of Ole Miss. At times, college football is cyclical, and at times it isn't. LSU in the 2000s is an example of an anomaly, not an up-cycle. The sooner you accept that falling arse backwards in to Saban is the only thing that ever, or will ever, bring you success.
