So, Nebraska got 3 spots filled with in state players. That leaves 23/24 spots you have to fill with players out of state, many of whom live in the south and don't wanna go to cold, middle of nowhere Nebraska. I'm just saying it's a tall order

Not any taller than it has ever been. When Nebraska was good they were producing loads of great lineman/fullbacks and every once in a while a superstar skill position like Eric Crouch, Johnny Rodgers or Ahman Green. Pretty sure almost none were highly rated recruits.

Also when has Nebraska ever needed to recruit the south?
