Cam Newton had one of the best cfb seasons in history.
Vince Young's junior season was similar, albeit not quite as good, as Cam's one season at Auburn. Vince Young also had a great back half to his sophomore season, and, as our USC friend mentioned, a couple of legendary Rose Bowl performances. Cam, on the other hand, never had a Vince-esque bowl performance.
Tough call, really. I think Tebow and Frazier are also in this conversation.

and for me thats why ill take VY over cam, as VY had 2 legendary performances. He played his best in the biggest games. Thats part of what this thread is about, what separates the legendary athletes from the great athletes.
