First of all, my "stuff" isn't garbage. It's reality and my perspective.
Secondly, LSU basketball has been pretty disappointing for the last couple of decades minus the 2000 and 2005 seasons. So.. Beating a a good WVU and pathetic Charleston team and losing to unranked Clemson and Old Dominion constitute being "back". I would love for LSU to be in the NCAA tourney but there's no way this year.
Next. It's not the same as what's going on at Ole Miss. OM has consistently been trending up for the last three years hauling in recruiting classes and winning bowl games. So barring a new QB, they'll be in better shape than State and on par with LSU in football. Fairly complete team minus a QB.
The problem is which is more embarrassing. LSU hasn't done anything to justify being back. Were they back last year when they beau UK? What was the defining moment, because that team didn't make the Tournament either. Ole Miss was in contention for the West longer than LSU, and since LSU is considered and elite program, they must be doing well.
ETA: typo.
