That problem existed before McGarity and goes all the way back to Dooley

Ok..so in 2010 mcgarity could've done something about it could he not? Nothing that happened in the early 90s has anythign to do with mcgarity's ability or inability to build an IPF.

And I'm quite sure that goff/donnan didn't make as much of a fuss about an IPF as richt has. And pruitt in one year has already lashed out about it as well, to be publicly shot down by his boss.

Do you really think Dooley was anti-football and cheap???

Anti-football? Idk how to quantify that but I would guess no. Cheap? Hell yes. Did you not see the state of our basketball and baseball facilities under his watch? It took Damon coming in to FINALLY do something about it.

This could be evidence that someone higher up is preventing the IPF or making it harder.

Yeah, mcgarity doesn't want to buy it.

Richt first said something publicly under Damon. You forget Dooley was our AD until 2002 or 2003. Uga could have been among the first to have an IPF. I am telling you, the problem is higher up than AD, IMO.

Dooley is a football guy and football makes 98%, or around about, of the revenue for all of the athletic department. Why build something up that your not going to get a return on? I am not justifying but instead giving a potential perspective.
