Lincoln Riley
Offensive coordinator, East Carolina
This could be one of the more intriguing options out there this offseason. Riley is an up-and-comer in his early 30s who has getting a lot of buzz and attention on a regional and national level. He has been at ECU since Jan. 2010, building the Pirates' offense into one of the nation's best. ECU currently ranks fifth nationally with 532.8 yards per game. The drawback from UGA's perspective could be that he's more of a spread coach than the offense the Bulldogs have been accustomed to using. Riley coaches seven seasons at Texas Tech prior to his time at ECU, which is actually where Richt served one season as offensive coordinator way back in 1989.

What's wrong with the offense we ran this year? Why change it when it's been overly successful?

We would murder teams with this guy but its not gonna happen.

We're gonna have to get a pro style guy...And I can't really think of any right now that I would be super enthusiastic about..

I wouldn't be surprised to just see CMR take the reins one more time and grab a solid QB coach / Recruiter type + filling the positions Bobo takes with him...

We shall see though.
