A good line but I don't think Miles wanders North. He is older then he was, he has a good pond to thrash around in, and his family is happy here. Could he move up to Michigan?

Well if they drop the numbers they are talking about then sure.

But I think Michigan is looking for a younger coach that they can lock down for longer then Miles could commit too.

Could he make Michigan an elite program? Well he probably could. Would he care to invest the time and effort to do so? I think no.

Miles is nearly 60 years old. He's won hardware that most coaches could only dream of, and he's made boat loads of money doing it. I just don't see why someone in his position would even care to start a rebuilding project, even if it is at his alma mater, and this is even assuming they pay him more than LSU would. It's not like he's underpaid at LSU and/or needs the money.
