I'll just say this, coaching salaries have gotten completely out of control. Will Muschamp's salary at Auburn would have made him a top 5-10 paid HEAD coach 10 years ago. It's just absurd to me what the profession has become in terms of how agents have basically put ADs in a corner in which they really have no real bargaining power. All it takes is one coach getting paid X amount, and then that becomes the standard. I remember being blown away when assistants were even somewhat approaching 7 figure salaries. Guess it's just the nature of the beast but there has to be a breaking point eventually. I just don't see any way salaries can continue to grow at the rate they have over the past 10 years.

It will come, and it will be in the form of whatever court case enforces that players get a significant part of the TV revenue. Until then salaries will keep going up.

In fact, EVERYONE right now except maybe Sumlin is being underpaid when you consider what the SEC Network is work.

Be looking for a the first $2 million coordinator to be in the SEC, and to happen sooner rather than later.
