I'd take Carroll over Saban, too.

If Carroll ever came back to the college game, he could sell not only his prior NCAA success, but also his NFL success. He could tell recruits that he is uniquely able to develop them in the college game and also position them for success in the NFL because he's succeeded at both levels. No disrespect to Saban, but Carroll is probably the only Coach that could come back to the college game and make Saban an afterthought.
