All that Spurrier has done does not make his open comments about how long he has left any less damaging to USC recruiting. Spurrier has handcuffed the recruiting this year and possibly for the remainder of his tenure.

I would be thankful for what he did and feeling the same he may need to go due to his error. It is worthy for discussion anyway.
