Get a minivan. They're awesome. Chrysler Town & Country is the best. Ridiculously practical and you'll never know how you lived without it. Gets upper 20's in has mileage.

Could not agree more (have the Dodge Grand Caravan - same vehicle as Chrysler).

I was a sports car and pickup truck guy that felt minivans were a waste of steel that could have been molded into something useful. My daughter came along and the wife wanted something more practical so we got the Grand Caravan.

That damned thing is amazing. Gets low 20s in gas mileage and is as maneuverable as any sedan. Easy to get in and out. If you need to haul luggage, just fold down the back seats (they go under the floor) and you've got a cargo van.

Ignore the haters and get the minivan. You won't regret it.
