Seriously, there are people being very obtuse up in this thread. And some have mentioned, this is all about context. The song is not overly offensive in itself. But when played in that manner at that location at that time, then what the hell are people supposed to think? Jesus, the guy is a dumbass if he didn't think African Americans would hear a song glorifying a "southern man" and state that had to be dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century, and not think the worst. Granted he is a Bama fan, so he may just be THAT tone deaf.
