I would love to take issue with your sentence, but the above is an example of a commonly acceptable use of a subordinating conjunction at the start of a sentence.
There is still much debate on the subject. Many would suggest conjunction use at the start of a sentence is only acceptable when the sentence is ultimately a complete one, such as "Because hillbillies can't read or write, they are apt to make such mistakes."
