Capable of making rapid in-game adjustments: check.

As goofy as Marshall was, he loved his teammates and his coaches. He showed out and brought attention to himself sure. But he was a team player. Kelly doesn't seem like that kind of player to me. I hope I'm wrong.

Next years football team should hopefully be more high profile than any bball team Marshall was ever on. He will be under much more scrutiny than Marshall was.

He'll be on a short leash. Any type of screw-up and he's gone. Spent considerable time in Scooba, which can be a humbling experience. He also realizes this is his last chance. He's got 2 years to play 2 so he knows he has to get his shite together. Trust in Freeze. He know's what he's doing.

He's fast, elusive, steps into his throws, has a plus arm, great accuracy, Alabama offered in high school when he was a top dual-threat, he's a leader, his EMCC teammates loved him, and he has more confidence than Stingray the Bulldog fan testing an old diving board.

My only comfort is that Freeze was very reluctant to offer him. He had to show Freeze he was worth an offer and apparently did. He needs to be on a short leash.

I think when you look back at this in two years, you'll see what a grade decision it was. Even if he doesn't pan out, he brings competition to the QB spot and makes the other two work harder.

The only one that's at risk of transferring IMO is Kincade.

I think you're right. Would hate to see him transfer and end up a stud somewhere else though.

Buchanan has been an Ole Miss fan all his life and he was commited from the beginning he's not leaving.
