Perfect example this year. Michigan State, sitting at 8, has already lost to two of the top four teams. They have no business being in the discussion. Period. End of story.

2 teams having a bye is too much of an advantage, so no to a 6 team playoff.

If you go to 6, then #7 and 8 will bitch. If you go to 8, then #9 and #10 will bitch. Someone will always bitch. Keep it at 4, let #5 and 6 bitch, but at least you have four teams that are truly worthy of playing for a national championship.

But what if they beat those two teams in the playoff?

Get tired of that continual mantra. Yeah yeah, someone will always bitch if 64 or 2 teams. Bitching is not the issue but teams that deserve a shot.

We have 4 teams that are worthy of playing but 2 that are and are not.
