They did not outnumber LSU in '12. God damn, the legend just spills out toward ridiculous.
Bama was WELL repped then, but not a majority.

Alabama had more fans at the 2012 BCSNGC.
It was a 50-50 even split in the corners but there were almost no LSU fans in the Alabama side. There were a lot of Alabama fans dotting the LSU side from where LSU fans sold their tickets.
I saw the crowd from field level.
