Also, I think the way TCU has played, they deserve a shot. B12 team or not. They are good. Not having a CCG I think hurt them. Still, you can't deny they are impressive.

I'm not convinced. I do think not having a championship game did, and should, hurt them. frick the Big 12 for not having one. Their fault. TCU could have helped their cause by playing real teams. They have zero wins that make me go wow. kU? ISU? Samford? Texas? SMU? Okie State? TTech?

I'll give them decent but not impressive wins against Minnesota, KSU and OU and I'll even stretch it and say WV was a decent win. They lost to Baylor.

That's good but not so good that I think they deserved a birth in the playoffs.

They should not have been leap frogged by tOSU. Baylor or TCU. All that amounts to is a committee taking care of a blue blood program. I still look at the B10 being on the same level as the B12 competition wise. tOSU should not have made it past TCU or Baylor.

I remember when all this playoff talk started. At first, it was to include conference champions playing each other and runner ups playing each other. Somewhere along the way, someone decided they better pick teams to protect the pinnacle programs. It should have stayed with letting conference champs play for a national title. No CCG, no shot at playoffs.
