I've been to the Hump a handful of times, first time around 89 or 90 and the last time 5 or 6 years ago. It had its moments in a couple of those games, especially when Gottfriend and Stansbury were both coaching. It was nothing spectacular though.

Well you also have to keep in mind that in the most recent trips you made that wasn't exactly the biggest match-up. If I remember correctly, Stansbury had Gottfried's number his last several years.
If you're talking about schools not named Duke, even the best places to play college basketball aren't going to get up for every game.
If you came to the games during that time frame against Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, and sometimes LSU and Ole Miss you would understand what I am talking about. Still though, some of those games against Alabama were more than "nothing special".
