It's probably my optimistic genes kicking in, but I'm still feeling it.

We have an elite defense. Pinkel said it was his best ever on 920 yesterday. The two games Alabama struggled in were Ole Miss and Arkansas and our defense is in their class or better.

And on offense, somebody from PowerMizzou (or similar) was interviewed yesterday and had compiled Maty Mauk's 4th quarter stats for the year and they were outstanding. Great numbers with zero interceptions. Unless he has a huge regressive brain fart, he seems to have quit running backwards and trying to salvage every play by heaving the ball up for grabs.

And when's Lane Kiffin going to show himself the FUBAR he's always been?

If Missouri is with 8 heading into the 4th quarter I really do like our chances.
