Completely agree. That new end zone looks cheap and rushed. No exterior facade makes it a stepchild compared to the rest of the stadium.


I seriously don't understand how this keeps being rehashed. I guess some people don't understand construction or footprints or just lack basic common sense.

They would literally have to tear down a building that was built in 2003 that cost $27 million, and then had $21 million in renovations done with the stadium expansion. They didn't have the room to expand the stadium with the same façade in that endzone. Which is why that upper deck actually overhangs the football complex.

A&M has far and away more money than anyone, probably more than most combined, if it was possible it would have been done. But you don't get that much money with that mindset of destroying a 10 year old $20 million building.
