Miss St is still #4 and Alabama #1 specifically becuase the committee still regards beating LSU at least equally as beating Wisconsin, Auburn as at least equal to Kansas St, etc etc.

No matter how they're actually ranking the bottom half of the teams or how often they are saying "Top25 win" Bama wouldn't be #1 and Miss St #4 if they weren't already considering strength of schedule and not just totally dismissing 3 or 4 loss teams like Auburn and LSU that also have more quality wins than FSU.
