I still see Alabama in a negative light. I cannot stand Alabama. That hasn't changed.

I just have no desire to continue to flame them until my own team can get their crap together. I am not an Arkansas or Ole Miss fan. Or, a Texas A&M fan. I only want to talk trash when I think that I have a team that can back it up. I don't.

I am not beaten personally. But, I recognize that in this little game that we play on the SEC Rant, you have legitimate contenders who can go at each other and you have wannabes who insert themselves into the big boy conversations and who look foolish. As LSU regresses, I refuse to go tFlagship route of the last couple of years. So, I abandon the field.

I assure you that my starting of negative threads about Alabama comes from complete sincerity. I just recognize that my team is officially unable to back up anything that I might say at this point, so it is stupid to continue trying.

Plus, I have been sincerely affected by watching decent Bama fans discipline their own fanbase. Take it for what its worth.

One more thing: I am friends with lots and lots of Bama fans in real life. Some of them are jerks about this stuff. Lots of them are decent. Everything gets heightened on message boards because we don't know each other personally and we split into camps.
