How can you be friends with someone like that? I mean, do you let him eat off your plates or drink out of your glasses? How do you know he hasn't just swallowed a big pile of shite right before? You have no way of knowing and that would be a deal breaker for having someone like that use my stuff.

How much shite cN the dude eat without getting sick though. I think OP is probably exaggerating on that point a bit.

I just found out... Like literally 2 days ago. It makes me uneasy to think about now but nothing I can do about it and he was a good friend. No drama, always there through some hard times, but he just likes a really disturbing thing to me. It's unsanitary I completely agree, that's why I even posted this to see what everyone would do. Almost for ideas. I think the smart thing at this point is to keep him as a friend but the coming over to my house where my wife and kids are is off the table. I'll chat over the phone or text with him, maybe hunt or play golf or something and no longer allow this discussion to ever come up again.
