They both needed time to learn to be head coaches. I think it's obvious which has progressed more. But I'm a State fan so don't ask me.

Freezes offense was better early on. Now he has better offensive weapons that he wanted but the offense has regressed. Mullen's has improved as he has gotten his type players.
Edit: Not to mention a great RB.
