extra games for a six or 8 team playoff - could cause travel problems
say oregon is picked & has to go to miami, then new orleans & final in texas - fans cannot afford the $
the presidents of the universities make the decisions & they will not extend the season
if you make it a 64 team playoff - someone is always bitching ie baseball & basketball

Nah, no hosts..... have a one National Championship Tournament location like the world cup over 3 weeks. That way everyone only has to travel to one place.
