I've always hated the Bama game more. I went to Tuscaloosa probably a dozen times over my college career, I've only been to Oxford twice. The issue is for there to be a real rivalry, you have to be able to take something from the other team. You have to be of comparable strength. State and Bama haven't been on the same level whereas Stare and Ole Miss generally are.

For me personally, OM is definitely more of a rival. But I also have way more contact with Bama, so I could see that being more of a hatred if we continue to perform well.

There's no comparison. State and Old Mistake hate each other and want the other to fail in sports, and in life. At least that's how most of the graduates feel. Bama has never been a "rivalry" any more than any other SEC we face every year. A rivalry would indicate that we've been competitive with them for a period of time, which we haven't. Every 7 years or so it's a huge win for us, but c'mon don't kid yourself. 2007 + 7 = 2014 (we're due)
