In fairness, Bama wouldn't be behind TCU, if they hadn't crapped the bed against OU in the post season and given the Big 12 credibility in one big gift. If Bama doesn't wind up in the playoff this year and plays TCU or Baylor in a major bowl......please take care of business. Post season results will impact committee votes in the following year when considering conference wins.

I think you hit the nail on the head! Bama's bowl loss to a 17 pt underdog OU...changed the thinking of many.
I think TCU deserves to be ahead of Bama, but that does not mean Bama can't get back in the final 4. Lots of time left.
