It's absolutely and utterly meaningless. TCU doesn't have a quality win left anywhere on its schedule. Kansas (3-6), Texas (5-5), and Iowa State (2-7). We have three...MSU, Auburn, and the SECCG. Win those and we'll blow right past TCU and maybe FSU as well.

Here's what the top 5 have left

Miss. St.

#5 Bama
Vandy
#10 Ole Miss
*SEC Championship Game

Oregon

Colorado
Oregon State
*Pac 12 Championship Game

Fla. state

BC
Fla.
*ACC Championship Game

TCU

Texas
Iowa State
*No Championship Game

Alabama

#1 Miss. St.
Western Carolina
#9 Auburn
*SEC Championship Game

The only benefit of a committee that I ever thought would be better is that old statement of "they are playing the best football in the country right now".

Linking together some good wins in a row looks to be very important to me.

You forgot about Miami, the only game they're an underdog in.
