Clearly on his deathbed OBC will know more about football than the members of this website collectively, including me. But I find myself wondering how 6-2 would feel to him despite how awful the defense is. If he just ran Cooper as our 4th Quarter QB. Running the Wildcat, speed option, zone option read and some form of a short throw if the Defense did overcommit. Slipping out a back or tight end to make them pay. Obviously he's thought of this. I'm just wondering what use we get out of DT running a speed Option?

Speak for yourself ... he may know a little more than me, but I'm damn sure beginning to question his ability to put his knowledge into practical application. Either that or he's forgot about his freshman season and what they taught him in Coaching 101.

Knowing what to do is not his problem ... his problem is not letting his ego get the most of him in situations such as those you are alluding-to OC&B. He's admitted as much after three losses this season, "maybe I should have called another play," or "I wish I could go back and maybe call another play." (paraphrased but close)

Some things he can't change. Some things he could have.

He can't help how bad our D has turned-out to be this season ... but he has had the opportunity to outscore opponents and then hold onto leads using his offense - yet he failed.

Also, we've got some attitude (prima donna) problems on defense. He needs to personally step-in and put a couple of those little shits in their places.

This post couldn't be more relevant now. We all just got to see what happens when a real D Coach preps for a 0 Run Threat QB on a option.

Somebody gets f00king killed!
