with a quality win over number 11

First, the two top ten teams LSU has played this year have beaten LSU. The 2 losses, plus a one dimensional offense with a very young inexperienced qb that isn't very good is probably holding the committee back.

I do believe LSU should be higher than Ole Miss now that they both have two losses but my best guess would be the lack of playmakers on offense.

If MSU gets credit for beating number 8 ranked LSU, then why does LSU not get credit for beating a top 5 Ole Miss?

Am I missing something here?

The only argument is that LSU has steadily improved. Ultimately it doesn't really mean anything. Win out and LSU will get respect.
