How do you think these teams would stack up against 1995 Nebraska or 2001 Miami?

Both teams probably beat 95 Nebraska by 28 points. It would be like an NFL team vs college team today.

'01 Miami.. both lose by about 7 points?

Les Miles > Coker

Nick Saban >>>>>> Coker

All that talent just happened to pan out in the NFL, but that team was vastly overrated and even faced a weak as shite Nebraska in the title game. I would actually question Nebraska's case over Miami. Odd offense that was run very efficiently to the point of where it was unstoppable. Alabama and LSU beat 2001 Miami by multiple touchdowns.

Both were incredible teams and two of the best I've ever seen. But that Nebraska team stood out to me as the best team I've ever seen. They played four top 10 teams and won by an average of 30 points while averaging 49 against those teams. Their closest win was by 14 points and the next closest was 23 points. Florida had an incredible team that went 12-0 and the closest any team got to them was 11 points (including a top 5 FSU). I thought Florida would handle Nebraska, but Nebraska posted 60+ and won by 34 in the NC humbling Steve Spurrier at the height of his reign (which I didn't think was possible). That was the most physical team I've ever seen.

2001 Miami was great, but they played a weak schedule and had a couple of close calls.

2011 LSU went through the toughest schedule I've ever seen to go undefeated until the rematch.
