And that's the most disappointing part of it. What's funny is it's almost like they don't realize the money they could bring in with a really good championship season. That or they figure they're fine with the yearly money they bring in anyways.

It's not like they'd suddenly have fans with unrealistic standards that expect championships if we happened to win one

The fact that the athletic dept and administration as a whole don't seem to be as invested is a huge deterring factor for me and a big part of why I just can't donate. I'll give to the academic side and I'll go to the occasional game and I'll always passionately follow the team and pull for them win or lose; but the approach is just disheartening.
