I mean yeah it sucks we lost but I'm not even mad. I just have this depressing feeling because of Laquon going down like that and you know that it's going to be eating at him all offseason. He's a baller and a tough dude. He'll be back.

You'll get over Ole Miss athletics one day...

I'm at a loss for words right now. I've never seen a team lose that way. It's truly devastating so I'm a little mad and upset. I still want to know if ankle means down ... not that it matter anymore. Oh well

Oh this is not remotely close to the most upset I've been after an Ole Miss game.
Top two are Game 3 of the Virginia Super Regional and 2003 LSU

Has nothin to do with ole miss athletics.

This is about a kid that brings his all EVERY play and knowing him will most likely blame himself for this loss when he has no reason.

My heart has never hurt so much during a game/for a player

It doesn't. Your ankle is considered part of your foot.

He balled his arse off for nothing. fricking nothing.

I want to tell him it's ok and that Rebel Nation cares more about his recovery than the football game but I know even that wouldn't make the hurt stop.

Poor fricking kid.

The injury puts the fact that it's just a game I to perspective.

You're melting hard and fast. Log off and sleep.

Did you just start following OM football this year?

We had like 3 fricked up last second losses like this last year, without the injury. It's Ole Miss football, we get this same bullshite every year.

If you can't melt after that game, then you just don't give a frick. Take that shite on

Come on man. This was #3 v. #4. There are no comparisons to years past. We lost the game on a freak injury inches from the goal line. We win and we are in the drivers seat to go to the first ever college playoff. That's my freaking dream right there. A chance to win a football championship.

Why the frick would I melt?

You melt when your team gives the game away.

Last week against LSU we sucked balls. I melted. I was angry.

This week our team balled out. They did everything they could against a great Auburn team and came up short thanks to a broken ankle to one of our best offensive players. I can't melt. I'm sad for Laquon.

I guess we are opposite. Last week, I did not melt. I guess because we were still in it nationally. We lost an elimination game in a fricked up way. Melt on..

Also...the team did ball out. We played a good game offensively with a beat up OL. We tried...

Sometimes I just feel the OM family deserves to get over the hump.

I definitely feel we deserve to get over the hump, but I feel like we're ok.

We knew coming into the season that our offensive line was a year away. It would be nice to have a sure thing at QB next year, and I wish these seniors could get the season they deserve, but all hope is not lost.

We are consistently recruiting at a high level. We won't fall off after this year or next year. Freeze has us on track to be a consistent winner.

The LSU game was awful, but tonight was nothing short of inspiring. We just came up short. It hurts, but I ain't mad.

It does no good to melt. The team played their asses off but Auburn made more plays and less mistakes. We had them on their heels 2 different times on third down and long and let them throw up hail mary passes down the field for completions. Those later led to touchdowns.

It would be different if we didn't play our nuts off but we did and we just lost. Melting down won't solve anything.

Melting never solves anything, but It happens. I'm about a pint into some Woodford Reserve, so I'm feeling a bit better now.
