There is a mutual respect from reasonable fans b/c each know these are usually the 2 most physical teams in the SEC. While other teams (besides Arky) have gone to gimmicky offenses, LSU and Bama still know how to beat the hell out of you with the running game. This is usually a semi-pro game, with a lot of violent contact.
