They can be pretty difficult. I live with one and while he doesn't speak a lot of English, I get a strong feeling that he thinks he knows everything and that all Americans are stupid. I've witnessed this with many Middle Easterners. They're extremely closed minded. My roommate just moved in and he tried to explain the thermostat to me last night like I was a 5 year old..
