To be fair, they should be melting down right now. Their playoff hopes are completely shot. They have USC and ASU left to play whereas a team like UGA still has Auburn and - if we win out - the SEC West winner. UGA makes it if we win out. Notre Dame has to hope for a bunch of teams to lose AND win out just to hope to make it.
