I'm not surprised at the anti-Sims Bama fans in this thread..

These numbers didn't come from just anywhere... people act like all of Sims throws come on the run after alluding the rush... just about all of his deep passes have come from the pocket.

Sims is the least sacked QB in the nation and has home run speed while possessing a very accurate arm with the fast release around. You don't just get these type numbers from thin air or luck.. Sims is really really good.

I admit I was wrong about Blake. I told Bama fans before the season that I had serious doubts about his ability, and he proved me very wrong. He's still not my choice for best QB in the country, but he's easily been well above average in his performance. He can extend the field quite well, and has a pretty good aim. Some of the overthrows and underthrows I've seen were a bit egregious, but even Cooper can't catch uncatchable balls, so the fact that Cooper is tearing it up is evidence enough that Blake Sims is doing a good job.
